Seasonal affective disorder (S.A.D) is a type of depression that is related the changes in seasons. The main cause for seasonal affective disorder is insufficient daylight. Symptoms of seasonal affective disorder include : irritability, fatigue, changes in appetite, and weight gain. Women and young people have a higher risk of being diagnosed with S.A.D. Treatments include : supplements, psychotherapy, and exercise.

Dreams mainly occur during the REM (rapid eye movement) stage of sleep, which is when brain activity is high. Dreams can last up to for a few seconds, or even up to thirty minutes. There are three main theories as to why we have dreams. The first theory suggests that we have them to process information. The second theory states that we have them to work out unsolved problems. And the third theory says that we have dreams to make sense of random stimulation.

Meditation is a practice that results in an intense state of self-control. Meditation is a method of relaxation, and cuts of the outside world from one's consciousness if done correctly. Basic meditation includes closing the eyes, breathing slowly, and clearing the mind. Meditation can help reduce stress and cleanse the body of any negative vibes. Meditation has been practiced as early as 20 BCE and is used in many religions.
